With the holidays right around the corner, learn how to create the perfect charcuterie board for all your get-togethers! Join Wendy Tinkey of getonboarddsm for an afternoon full of tips & tricks to make everyday meats, cheeses and other delicious snacks extraordinary.

Available classes are a Fall Charcuterie Board class for beginners at 1 p.m. or a Thanksgiving Turkey Charcuterie Board class for advanced charcutiers at 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 12. Both will be held in The Kitchen, located in Maytag Family Theaters on the Iowa State Fairgrounds.

Beginner Fall Charcuterie Board Class

Sunday, November 12

1 p.m.

During the beginner workshop, Wendy will share her tips and tricks on how to build a beautiful gourmet charcuterie board that features fresh ingredients and a variety of fall textures and flavors. You'll fill the board with fruit, nuts, veggies, salami and fresh cheeses. You'll be the hit of your next gathering with this flavor-filled board! Cost is $65 per person and wine will be provided.

Advanced Thanksgiving Turkey Charcuterie Board Class

Sunday, November 12

4 p.m.

During the advanced workshop, Wendy will start with common tips and tricks to build a gourmet charcuterie board with fruits, nuts, veggies, salami and fresh cheeses. This class will take it up a notch to include unique cuts and creative fruit designs. You'll be the envy of your next gathering with your new skills and gourmet charcuterie board! Cost is $70 per person and wine will be provided.

Registration includes all the ingredients, charcuterie board and wine. Each class will be about 90 minutes long. Class sizes are limited to 30 participants in each class.
